My wife and I would certainly do it all again and hope to continue with the sponsorship of a child through IVCM for many years to come. To be honest, we have been blessed far more than the child by this ministry and can only recommend it highly to anyone who may be considering supporting a child through IVCM.
Why did we choose IVCM? The answer is fairly simple. We have worked hard for our money and we wanted it to be used wisely and for it to truly benefit the young person for whom it is intended. Importantly, we desired that it be used to provide a good education for the child and for the child to be taught about Jesus Christ in a wholesome atmosphere where the children were truly loved and cared for in a clean, healthy environment.

We have been blessed to be able to sponsor a little 5yr old girl who had an eye removed when she was a baby because she had a tumour behind her eye. Every year we are able to send her Birthday and Christmas cards and gifts and we also keep her in our prayers.
There are many different ways people can support IVCM; by praying, joining a VBS team, sponsoring a child or donating towards the costs of the rice program that provides rice every month to the children’s families.
We are so thankful to God for the opportunities He gave to us and we hope and pray that these children will grow up to be the future leaders of Cambodia.

I love sponsoring because I know the money goes to helping her directly and helping with he education and getting the things she needs. This make me very happy.

When I went on my first mission trip, I wasn’t going to find a child to sponsor, I knew just going over to Cambodia would help them, give them hope, share the most important thing of all, our Christ Jesus. I did end up deciding to sponsor a child though.
I chose IVCM because I knew it was real. I knew the money I was giving was going to help families. I wanted to sponsor because I wanted to give those in need support; a chance to live, to be looked after like we get.
I know God will provide me with sufficient funds each month to be able to share with His people. I have faith in Him. I know he will provide me with all I need to make Him known. We are serving an almighty God, why not share it with the world? That’s why I sponsor, sharing the Word and Love of our God with others all around the world.
